Studio Row is a growing arts, music, dining and creative district in Tulsa’s historic Pearl District, centered around The Church Studio—the legendary recording complex Leon Russell purchased in 1972 and transformed into the home of Shelter Records. Today, the neighborhood carries that creative legacy forward with recording and performance spaces, artist studios, locally owned shops, restaurants, lodging and other independent businesses, all within a walkable pocket surrounding Third Street and Trenton Avenue. Rooted in Tulsa’s music history but continually evolving, Studio Row is becoming a destination where the city’s past and its next generation of artists, makers and entrepreneurs meet.
